HALLOWEEN CAKE CONTEST 2013
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24TH 4PM-8PM
LOCATION TO BE DECIDED
Create your own cake or cupcake design for this fun Halloween Cake Contest! From Happy Jack O'Lanterns and fall leaves, to scary zombies and creepy haunted houses, anything goes for the 3rd Annual Halloween Cake Contest sponsored by Sugarbakers and Night MoonProductions.
You may enter as an individual or a group!
Event Time: 4pm-8pm (Judging will begin at 4pm. Try to have
your entries there by 3pm to compete in the judging. You do not
have to stay during the event but please return at 8pm to pick up your
cake if you choose not to sell it. And also to check and make sure
that it sold if you do want to sell it.)
Event Location: TBD
Entry Fee: $10.00 to enter. This is the price for two families to stay for one night at Ronald McDonald House. Payment address and payment methods coming soon. You may donate your cake for sale if you like. If your cake is sold, the money will be donated to Knoxville's Ronald McDonald House. Please return when the event ends at 8pm to see if you win an award. If your cake does not sell, we ask that you take it with you.
Registration Deadline: Saturday, October 19th at Midnight
Categories: (You may enter as many cakes as you like in any category)
Creature Feature (any cake design with a "scary or creepy" appearance)
Happy Halloween (any cake with a "happy or fun" appearance)
Happy Harvest (any cake without reference to Halloween but with a fall themed design)
Individual or Group (did you design the cake by yourself, or was it a group effort?)
Junior (age 16 or under)
Amateur (anyone who creates and designs cakes for fun)
Professional (anyone who creates and designs cakes for income)
This contest will be judged and trophies will be awarded for top choices. There will also be a People's Choice
Award that will be voted on by the public.
